How To Make Your Clothing Look More Expensive.

Updated: Aug 27, 2020

Here are some small things that will help your outfits look more expensive and put together.

1). Steam Your Clothes.

Steamers can get all of those annoying wrinkles out of your clothes and make you look a lot more professional. Mini steamers don't have to be expensive. I use the Conair brand one from Target and it works so well. It gets out all of the wrinkles. Sometimes I even spray a little perfume in the water in the steamer so my clothes smell EXTRA good!!

EXTRA: If you don't want to pay for a steamer, you can turn on the shower very hot and put your outfit in the bathroom with the door closed. This does the same thing at a steamer!

2. Make sure it fits!

While you are shopping, definitely try to try on your clothes so you get the right size. If something is too small or large, it looks cheap and unprofessional. This is why celebrities get their clothing tailored exactly to their body.

3. 90/10 Rule

The 90/10 can help you look more expensive when you can't always afford to be expensive.

Make your wardrobe:

90% lower priced clothing

10% higher priced

4. Don't wear too many patterns at once:

Wearing polka dots, stripes, and plaid all in one outfit can look so bad. Try to just have one print or pattern in an outfit at a time.

5.Match Your Chrome

Silver with Silver

Gold with Gold

Rosegold with Rosegold

This is one of my pet peeves. If I leave my apartment with gold details on my purse and I'm wearing silver jewelry.... I will be anxious all day until I fix it.
